I will discuss how I grew as a teacher, how I felt about my session, and my satisfaction with the outcome. I prepared for my teaching session by using credible resources to find my information, I decided to use a variation of communication and learning theories to give a balanced session. I distributed a handout to each student, asked students questions to engage them, and held a quiz at the end of the session to reinforce learning during the session. Initially, I was just going to do a presentational style of teaching, but while researching learning styles and communication, I discovered a lot of evidence to suggest that my session could be more successful and that my students could get more out of it if I used a variety of learning styles and communication techniques.
