Natural history museums have many different exhibits that serve a variety of purposes (Funding, n.d.). The collections on display are used to educate and inspire visitors. The information exposed is not only used to educate the public, but it is also used by a large majority of people for research purposes. Many other fields of work are able to use these collections to help them with their research and the expansion of their knowledge.
