As I aim to become a teacher in the near future, I definitely want to foster and apply my understanding of these two concepts as a teacher. As I mentioned in one of my weekly reflections, when knowledge is combined with love, it allows students to better understand those around them and become aware of the issues and problems around them as well as those from all over the world. Love is a concept that is often overlooked in the education system, mainly because educators tend to focus on the knowledge aspect and its importance. When love is combined with knowledge, it allows students to learn, grow, and transform as individuals. Additionally, the love a teacher expresses toward others can ultimately reflect back to students, thereby transforming their knowledge about those around them, applying that knowledge to the real world, and learning to love and accept those around them.
