Big Data and data analytics is one of those important factors that contribute to the success of a business and the updating of its software and information systems. What are Big Data and Data Analytics? You may be wondering what big data analytics is. Well, according to SAS, the leading business analytics software and services company describes big data analytics as “the process of examining big data to discover hidden patterns, unknown correlations, and other useful information that can be used to make better decisions.” With the goal of many businesses seeking insights from the massive amount of structured, unstructured and binary data available to them to improve business decisions and outcomes, it is obvious why big data analytics is so important. “Big Data differs from traditional data collection in that it captures, manages and processes data with low latency.
