Essay / Infj Personality Test - 652
Before taking the interactive Myers-Briggs test, I didn't really know what to expect or what kind of questions I would answer in order to determine what my personality type would be. However, afterward, I wasn't too surprised by my test results. Out of the sixteen different personality types, I got the INFJ personality type which simply means dominant introverted intuition. All of these letters were quite explicit and precise, depending on my temperament and personality. The statistical conclusion was 67% introverted (I), 38% intuitive (N), 50% feeling (F), and 56% judgmental (J). Therefore, I had a distinct preference for introversion over extroversion, a moderate preference for intuition over feeling, a moderate preference for feeling over thinking, and a moderate preference for judgment rather than perception. I've been an introvert my whole life and if I could change something characteristic and personality test result, it would be this. Introverts tend to think first and act later, which I believe is a positive trait that applies to me. I'm not at all an "impulsive of the moment" type of person, which is why I like to think about the pros/cons and negative/positive consequences of a decision or action. I also enjoy alone time and prefer to spend most of my time alone, with my husband, or with a small group of people. I believe I am internally motivated and because of that I can be a bit distant and disconnected. of the world. Being an online student where I spend most of my time at home, my mind is constantly active and I sometimes don't take the time to engage with what's going on in the world. Intimate, one-on-one relationships are of the utmost importance to me, especially with my husband....... middle of paper ...... comfortable with processes and outcomes. Without Introverted Intuitive Personality Types like me, there would be no minds capable of exploring all the mysteries of humanity and the universe. There would be no contemplation or investigation into the complexity of life as we know it and do not know it. There would be no way to research past and present trends that will define the future. I am a persistent person with a vision but because of my introversion, I have a silent outer shell that can prevent me from achieving certain aspects of my vision. However, because I am an introverted and dominant introverted personality type, I am more likely to revert to my visions even though people no longer even believe it is part of my mindset. I am determined, motivated and often see things that are about to happen, as well as the near and distant future..
