Ethical judgments limit the methods available in the production of knowledge, both in the arts and in the natural sciences. Discuss. As our quality of life improves, we begin to focus on our surroundings and other beings/organisms. During this process of focusing on other things, we encounter more and more ethical problems. This brings us to the question of knowledge: to what extent do ethics limit the acquisition of knowledge by knowers? Over time, these ethical judgments lead to limited knowledge production, particularly in the arts and natural sciences. Ethical decisions can be made due to emotions that limit knowledge. Art requires a lot of emotion, not only to enjoy it, but also to create. Biological arts, such as Body Worlds, use real deceased bodies to display the inner beauty of humans. Since all these bodies are acquired through donations from the unfortunate people before their death, we tend to relax in front of all the corpses and enjoy the knowledge presented by the art exhibitions. Now suppose the bodies came from normal civilians who were kidnapped and killed, the ethical code would begin to appear and this event would receive negative media coverage in addition to government attention. Let us demonstrate this example again: what happens if the bodies come from criminals who have murdered and/or committed nasty crimes? their deaths were then caused by human intentions and certain methods of their deaths were recorded and used for experimental purposes in an artistic way, or even experimentation in general? Some people, such as victims, could support the dissemination of knowledge created by their death and would access this knowledge. Others would say it is false and would not even approach this source of knowledge. A very good example from... middle of paper ......urns Bush's stem cell policy - CNN.com.
