  • Essay / Youth In Youth - 919

Role of youth in peacebuildingWhat is youth!Youth is the backbone of any nation. The destiny of a nation rests on young people. These are the people who can transform the course of the world. They are deep thinkers and fight hard in every field in which they work. They are well innovated and constitute a fundamental source of advancement. Young people are literate and know what is bad and what is better. Young people are ready to adapt to changes because they are the shining stars of today's changing world; they are in search of the truth; they are broad-minded and composed of different ideas rather than mature and old people. Allama Iqbal realized the power of youth and described in his beautiful poetry: “I love these young people who destroy the stars”. Youth plays an important role throughout the global village. They are the real treasure if guided and facilitated. Opportunities are not given to them. We invest nothing in our young people but they continue to work voluntarily in the search for peace without any interest. “Youth loves honor and victory more than money” Aristotle. Today, Pakistan is facing many challenges surrounded by drone attacks, terrorism, poor economic conditions, educational dilemma, corruption, energy crisis, social and mostly above poverty. Even though developing countries receive significant financial aid, poverty remains a problem. Some people believe that to eliminate poverty in developing countries, aid is necessary. Poverty is a problem that still afflicts many developing countries across the world and its influence directly affects the poor who have become vulnerable and involved in terrorism, street crimes, have become thieves. Our mistakes build confidence in them. They do what they want... middle of paper ...... iastic naturally talented although they have to be motivated, responsible and goal setters, they know what the path is but they don't know the right direction. Our youth is not facilitated, which is why foreign companies value this reserve and thus talents are exploited abroad. On the other hand, a small part of talented young people prefer to stay here, but they are still not very profitable because they are usually not used and directed. Our youth are unemployed but we have natural talents. Emotions are not enough, but preparation matters, we must bring change to establish a new Pakistan. Our youth can achieve this direction through continuous reflections, negotiations and analysis. Thus, for the true destiny of Pakistan and to bring positive progress and peace, the youth must learn the neglected lessons of truth, justice, courage and Islamic governance..
