Many continue their lives blaming themselves for what happened to their loved one who chose to commit suicide and could have done something more to help. They may also prevent themselves from forming new relationships because of the excruciating pain they felt while committing suicide. Deaths that involve a mix of things, including hanging, overdose, cutting, jumping, show a great desire to die. “Time and again, it has been found that when a person is prevented from committing suicide, they are extremely grateful afterward.
