In today's world, the disciplines associated with economics are of fundamental importance and application, which encouraged me to pursue economics . The economy has an important importance in all of our lives. As consumers, we try to make the most of our limited incomes. As workers, we take our place in the labor market. As citizens of a country, our lives are affected by the decisions of our government: decisions about taxes, decisions about spending on health and education, decisions about interest rates, decisions that affect unemployment, inflation and growth. As inhabitants of planet Earth, we are affected by each other's economic decisions: the air we breathe, the water we drink and the environment we leave to future generations are all affected by economic decisions made by the human race. It is these stimulating questions that fascinate me in economics. I greatly enjoy studying economics and I believe that my passionate interest in economics is continually enhanced by my regular reading of "The Economist". The university has always attracted me because of the richness of its experiences....
