My participation in professional conferences, my registration for short courses and my search for mentoring can attest to this. Thus, in my pursuit of continued academic and professional excellence, I find it necessary to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Epidemiology and the Department of Epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health (JHSPH) will be the environment ideal academic. in which to do it. The opportunity to work hand-in-hand with renowned researchers who have made enormous contributions to various research studies and the prospect of establishing a mentoring relationship with them is highly valued. Additionally, efforts to promote innovative research, cross-cultural diversity, and large alumni networks are undeniable benefits that can be achieved at JHSPH. No wonder JHSPH is ranked the best academic institution in public health nationally! Having gained some research experience during my year as a master's student and at the FDA, my desire to engage and conduct innovative and independent research has strengthened. . It is therefore after careful consideration that I am seeking to pursue a doctorate in epidemiology with a concentration in general epidemiology and methodology. As an Optomet trained doctor... middle of article ...... my next research assignment at the FDA focuses on the opioid use epidemic.
