For every wild animal legally hunted, another is killed illegally; This is called poaching. People who commit crimes such as illegal hunting are known as poachers. The worst part of this crime is that it is committed where no one can see or know what is happening. Poachers' motivations can range from seeking a trophy, to needlessly killing animals, to reaping a profit from ivory, horns or antlers. If this environmental problem of poaching persists, then many species will become either endangered or extinct. This has been an ongoing problem for many years and many efforts have been made to stop or catch the poachers. There are various solutions that have been tried and tested, but the newest and most effective solutions have yet to be explained. The first and most general solution to this and many similar problems is to impose more severe consequences for this crime.
