    Since most bullying occurs at such an immature age, the negative effects of social media are even more detrimental. Social media was not intentionally created for children, so its effects may be worse on children than adults. Socially, these websites deteriorate and delay the development of children. This explains why many parents feel uncomfortable allowing their children to have access to these sites. Social media sites are not suitable for children because they are still learning life skills and developing morals on ways to express themselves. These sites simply expose children to the unnecessary stress and unwanted feelings that cyberbullying brings them.
