I've been playing bass guitar in many different bands for about 20 years now. During this time, I had to deal with many types of musicians and situations that resulted in a love/hate relationship for me with my music. There are times when I feel like things would be much better if I listened to my music alone at home, but it's like a strong magnet that draws me in every time. It's very hard to explain, but I guess it's just part of who I am. One thing is true for me, whether the environment affects me in a positive or negative way, when the music starts I feel like I'm drifting into a different world. As long as my eyes are open, I see nothing, I can only hear. Music has played a big role in my family, mainly thanks to my mother and father. When I was a child, watching them play was very inspiring....
