The Pilgrimage to Mecca Looking at the five pillars, I can immediately make comparisons to the Christian faith. As a Christian and a child of God, we believe in showing our faith and the power of prayer. The Bible also tells us to give to those in need because we might need it too. Jesus also taught fasting and devotion to God. The pilgrimage to Mecca is almost like going to a church, even to increase the spiritual maturity of the Christian. The Islamic people also have a holy book called the Quran, which is similar to our Bible. The Islamic religion is very interesting to know. As with any religion, there are always comparisons and differences. Just as the Islamic people remain faithful to their religion, we Christians have a responsibility to remain faithful to the one and only true God, who is the creator of heaven and earth.
