However, I have seen development in my writing that will help me continue to grow as a writer. In my first essay, “How to Get Away with Murder,” my teacher left the comment “I really want to see what you like about the show.” You tend to limit these positive statements to just one sentence. We need to work on developing examples. I can say from my professor's comments on my third essay, "The Dark Side of Hollywood," that my writing progressed because he said, "...this essay is very strong." It is well supported, well researched and powerfully accepted. At the beginning of this semester, I regretted not dropping this class, however, I'm glad I didn't because I learned essential skills that will help me write.
