    Nowadays, the concept of pre-marital cohabitation has been widely used in many places. The current generation tends to cohabit outside of marriage at least once in their lives. Bruce Wydick has argued that "cohabitation can be defined narrowly as an intimate sexual union between two unmarried partners who share the same dwelling for an extended period of time." (2). In other words, people who want to experience what a relationship is really like tend to live under the same roof and get to know each other better. Couples are well on their way to establishing a committed relationship in which discussion of marriage is seen as the next step. However, many people have doubts about whether or not to live with their future partner. Some of them see it as an effective way to have the chance to get to know a potential husband/partner. Meanwhile, others deny this idea altogether due to their disagreements with certain religious beliefs. Wydick suggested that "the increase in premarital cohabitation is the product of a general movement within Western society away from traditional ideas about marriage, divorce, birth control, abortion , women's rights and a host of other related issues” (4). As a result, people are now more open-minded, that is, they accept the idea of ​​pre-cohabitation primarily as a social institution. People should live together before getting married because they have the opportunity to test their partnership and avoid problems that may arise in the future.
