Essay / g to Catharine M. Young, “Forty-three percent of teens have been victims of cyberbullying in the past year” (Young). This statistic defines not only how scary the path of the world has become, but also its legacy. However, there are still countless non-bullying movements, all of which are influencing change in how cyberbullying is handled. Even though cyberbullying laws threaten free speech, laws should be implemented. Cyberbullying is a leading cause of suicide, negatively affecting high-profile celebrities in the media we see every day, and laws can mandate the teaching of appropriate and morally sound behavior. There are many different forms of cyberbullying. Some include sending nasty or threatening messages to a person's email account or cell phone, spreading rumors online or via text message, posting hurtful or threatening messages on social networking sites, or web pages, stealing a person's account information to access their account and send harmful messages. , pretending to be someone else online to hurt another person, taking unflattering photos of a person and distributing them via cell phones or the Internet, sexting, or distributing sexual images or messages on a person. Cyberbullying can be very damaging to adolescents and adolescents. This can lead to anxiety, depression and even suicide. Additionally, once things circulate on the Internet, they may never disappear and resurface later to renew the pain of cyberbullying. When looking at the countless cases of cyberbullying on the Internet, which, oddly enough, is the breeding ground for such senseless acts, Ryan Halligan's story is unfortunately very popular with the search engine. Ryan was just...in the middle of an article......he was crossing the line of socially appropriate behavior. Freedom of speech is not an excuse to mock, despise or ridicule other individuals, it also shows that this approach or policy does not limit you, but the freedom to express yourself. Cyberbullying laws should definitely be implemented. The negative consequences of cyberbullying are far greater and more crucial than expected, and can be seen in stories like those of Ryan Halligan, Megan Meier, Charlotte Dawson, Paris Jackson, and even Justin Bieber. Due to these terrible acts, some of these victims were damaged and even committed suicide. It's incredibly sad to say, but some of these victims will never know victory or grow from these terrible experiences. Cyberbullying can not only kill a person's mental state, but it also has the power to influence the destruction of their physical form..
