Your body is yours and you can do with it however you want. Some argue that it is, while others are completely opposed to it. When we talk about our body, we refer to drugs, abortion and prostitution, when these words are mentioned, people's outlook completely changes. Despite the many points of view, I will only highlight a few, but there is a huge debate on each of these topics. Another important point is government control over people's gun rights. In light of Obama's recent threats to take away guns from the American people, this has sparked a huge debate in our country. With many people taking different positions, there is no way to remain neutral on the subject because each person thinks differently. This article will delve into the pros and cons of each topic as well as its effects on the American people, our government, and the economy/tax dollars. These topics are so broad that each person's views are a little different in some way and this article will talk about some of the different views people have. Do you believe the government should be able to control what you do to your body or change the rights you were born with? Gun control is a huge debate in our country. One of the points is that guns pose a huge threat to our society as if they remain legal then they become easier to buy but if they are illegal there will be fewer guns and therefore , fewer weapons that criminals will be able to obtain. More guns means more gun-related accidents, which also poses a significant threat as 123,000 gun-related accidents occur each year.
